It is also not possible to define the characteristics of patients with Sildenafil treatment failure in the literature, because the characteristics of patients with Sildenafil treatment failure are not described in the literature. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to describe the characteristics of patients with Sildenafil treatment failure who were treated with the first-line treatment of Sildenafil.

Patients were categorized into three groups: the Sildenafil group (n = 30), the Viagra group (n = 30), and the placebo group (n = 29).
The study included a total of 709 patients who were admitted to the hospital from January 1, 2021, to December 31, 2024, from the first admission to the hospital in the state of Washington, USA. The patients who were admitted to the hospital to receive a Sildenafil treatment were included into the Sildenafil group and the placebo group.
